Chord v2 Wavetables

Custom wavetables designed for the Chord v2. Pick a library, and download your wavetable of choice. A simple, yet powerful way to upgrade your sound design with Chord.

How to use a custom wavetable on Chord:

  1. Download the wavetable of your choice.

  2. Insert Chord’s microSD card into a computer.

  3. Place the new wavetable onto the microSD card’s root directory. Ensure that only one wavetable is in the root directory to upload the correct wavetable.

  4. Eject the microSD card, and reinsert it into Chord.

  5. Boot up Chord. To access the new wavetable, hold the MODE button for 3 seconds.

Quick Tip: In the chordconfig.txt file on the microSD card, you can toggle the LONGFORM_USERBANK setting to change the bank state of your custom wavetable. When off, the custom wavetable is split into 8 banks of 8 waveforms. When on, the custom wavetable becomes a single bank of 64 waveforms. This can help you better access your wavetable’s intended use case, such as scanning through a converted audio sample in a single sweep, or breaking up multiple timbral subsections of your wavetable.
